A SPECIAL NOTE ON R RATED MOVIES...

Here at the Strand, we strictly enforce the MPAA rules for R Rated movies. This means no one under the age of 17 will be admitted to an R rated movie without an accompanying parent or adult guardian. The guardian must stay with the minor throughout the whole movie, meaning they cannot buy the tickets and then leave the minors to see the movie. ID's are required for anyone who is 17 or older, and will be checked at the discretion of the box office attendant.
