Ohio Goes to the Movies is a statewide celebration of film, storytelling, and community — bringing together theaters, filmmakers, educators, and audiences across Ohio. Each participating venue hosts screenings, conversations, and special events that highlight the power of movies to connect people and spark meaningful dialogue.

The Strand Theatre is honored to host The Grand Finale of this year’s program — a two‑day event featuring a luncheon, a major film screening, special guests, and a live panel discussion. This finale brings the statewide celebration home to Delaware, showcasing Ohio’s rich film culture and the communities that support it.
